In spatial sector, where unfailing effectiveness is required, ATERMES is known
for many realisations within prestigious special programmes.
Its electronics systems are embedded in Mir station, Ariane rocket, solar observatory
Soho (Settled in 1,5 million kilometres of the Earth) , or still in Cluster satellites
(studying magnetosphere of our planet).
Since 1994, ATERMES hasn't stopped developing and updating itself in spatial domain.
CLUSTER 2 / WEC 8 - 9 - 11 :
For the CNRS, LPCE and CETP and sub mastery ESA, ATERMES carried out research, development
and realisation of electronics and mechanics module W8, W9 and W11 of the 4 models of flight.
Services included a converter SC-DC in high out put and all digital electronics at the base
of DSP for the analysis of the signals produced by sensors of the experiences.
ESA / INTEGRAL :
Spatial observatory in radiation GAMMA domain. In frame of this programme,
ATERMES realised for the CEA models of radiation GAMMA detection for the working
temperature of atmosphere, along with a research for the associated electronics
development. ATERMES demonstrated that its capacity to assume the financial risk
(the 1500 models were integrated at ATERMES' place) to be extremely responsive
(clean room technicians brought forward their days off at last minute to deliver
timely in spite of a lateness upstream from delivery of the elements), to realise
a technologic performance (ATERMES had to invent a new wiring method specific to
the assembly of these items). INTEGRAL is launched with success from Baïkonour the October 17th, 2002.
NASA/CASSINI :
Interplanetary probe to Saturn and its natural satellite Titan. In this programme, ATERMES' team
realised electronic cards for two elements: the probe Huigens which will land on Titan and whose
master-builder is the ESA and the second probe CASSINI made under the responsibility of the NASA.
Launched in 1997 for 7 years of travel, the probe CASSINI has to land the July 4th, 2004 from where
it turns during 5 years.
SMART ONE :
For the SNECMA and its master-building ESA, ATERMES realised the research, development, realisation
and tests on the qualification and flight modules of the gas supply distribution of the ionic
experimental motor.ATERMES has made cards for the programmes ESA/ISO (infrared spatial observatory),
ESA/SOHO (spatial observatory dedicate to study of the sun), ESA/CLUSTER 1 and 2 (study of the earth
magnetosphere), ESA/ROSETTA (study of comets), CNES/MARS 96 (mission to Mars), ESA/XMM (spatial
observatory in weak energy radiation X domain. In frame of this European programme, ATERMES realised
for the CEA an electronic subgroup wiring.)
